About Moritz
Moritz Danner is a Berlin-based artist. His paintings move between abstraction and loose figuration: restless lines, open fields of color, and shapes that seem to keep moving after you look away.
Before ARTMERE, he spent years in Berlin's fashion, music and creative culture, running a music company and working closely with DJs and designers. That world still runs through his work: a feeling for rhythm, for timing, and for the moment a room changes its mood.
In 2025 he founded ARTMERE with a simple conviction: a painting should live where life happens, above the dinner table, in the hallway, next to the bed, not only behind gallery walls.
In his own words
I have always been fascinated by how closely what we see is tied to what we feel. A restless line can echo a busy mind. One unexpected color can calm a room or wake it up.
I don't want to explain a painting to you. I would rather you find one you keep coming back to, because it means something to you.
