The Story

The ARTMERE Story
When you buy art online, you usually get a print.
Mass-produced, flat, indistinguishable from thousands of others.
ARTMERE was born from a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find
affordable original paintings?
Not prints that pretend to be art. Not digital files on a screen.
Real paintings, with brushstrokes you can see, texture you can feel,
and depth that changes with the light.
We use technology to design contemporary pieces, then hand-paint every
single one using traditional techniques. It takes 20-40 hours per painting.
Professional-grade materials. Real artistry.
The result? Gallery-quality originals at prices that actually make sense
for real homes.
Because the art you see every day matters.

Meet the Founder

Meet Moritz Danner
Founder & Creative Director
I didn't set out to start an art company.
I studied economics, built a fashion brand (NAKT), and spent years
figuring out how to create products people actually want. But art was
always there, on my walls, in my travels, constantly inspiring how I
see the world.
The idea for ARTMERE came from my own apartment search. I wanted
original paintings, not prints. But galleries wanted $5,000. Online
shops sold posters. Nothing in between.
So I built the in-between.
I design every piece you see on ARTMERE, using AI as a creative tool
to explore compositions and colors until something feels right. Then
our team of professional painters brings each design to life, layer by
layer, brushstroke by brushstroke.
I split my time between Berlin and New York, always looking for the
next design that stops me from scrolling. If you want to follow the
process, find me on Instagram @moritz.banner.
The mission is simple: make gallery-quality art accessible.
No compromises on quality. No mass-produced shortcuts.
Just original paintings for people who appreciate the difference.
