A NOTE FROM MORITZ

Art should make a room feel personal.

Before ARTMERE, I spent years working in fashion and creative culture. Art was always part of my life, and for a while I painted myself. What I noticed was that I never wanted to stay inside one style. Different rooms, moods and people call for very different work.

When I started looking for art for my own home, I kept running into the same problem. The pieces I truly loved were often far beyond what I wanted to spend, while more accessible options rarely offered the range, presence or physical character I was looking for.

That became the starting point for ARTMERE. I wanted to create a place where very different styles could sit next to each other without feeling random, and where choosing a hand-painted work felt personal and clear. A work should change the room, feel good to live with and still give you something after the first impression.

Why I started ARTMERE A short note from Moritz about the idea behind ARTMERE.

SELECTED BY MORITZ

Three works I keep coming back to.

I do not look for one fixed style. I look for a clear point of view, a composition that holds together and a work that still gives you something after the first impression.

Orbiting Thoughts

I like that this work never fully settles. There is always another line or connection to notice, but the whole composition still feels balanced.

HOW ARTMERE WORKS

I develop and refine each composition under my creative direction, using visual research and digital tools where they help the idea.

A skilled studio artist then paints the physical work individually by hand on canvas. ARTMERE reviews the finished painting, and you approve it before shipping.
